YOU ARE A SMART PERSON.

YOU ALREADY KNOW A LOT ABOUT WHAT YOU “SHOULD” BE DOING.

Knowing what to do and actually doing it are two very different things.

You don’t need another article telling you to exercise more, eat better, get enough sleep, or manage your stress better.

What you may need is the time and space to figure out what matters most to you, what’s getting in your way, and what changes might actually work in your life.

That’s where health and wellness coaching comes in.

As a National Board Certified Health and Wellness Coach and a member of the American College of Lifestyle Medicine (ACLM), I partner with you to turn the things you want for your health and your life into realistic steps you choose for yourself.

No judgment. No perfection required. Just a place to start.

WHAT IS HEALTH AND WELLNESS COACHING?

Health and wellness coaching is a partnership designed to help you move from knowing what you want to change to figuring out how to make that change work in your everyday life.

You bring your life, your experiences, your priorities, and your ideas. I bring questions, encouragement, accountability, and a process that helps you explore what matters most to you.

Together, we look at where you are now, where you would like to be, and what small, realistic steps might help you move in that direction.

I’m not here to hand you a list of rules or tell you what you “should” do. You are the expert on your own life. My role is to help you uncover your own strengths, ideas, and possibilities—and turn those thoughts and ideas into actions that feel realistic and meaningful to you.

Coaching isn’t about doing everything. It’s about discovering what you’re ready to do next.

Lifestyle Medicine looks at the everyday choices we make which can have a meaningful impact on our health and well-being.

The Six Pillars of Lifestyle Medicine include nutrition, physical activity, restorative sleep, stress management, positive social connection, and avoidance of risky substances.

In my coaching process, we explore the areas that matter most to you. Maybe you want to move more, sleep better, eat more plant-based whole foods, manage stress differently, strengthen your relationships, spend time in nature or simply feel more in control of the habits that affect your health.

You decide where we start.

WHAT COACHING WITH ME LOOKS LIKE

You won’t come to our sessions and be handed a list of rules.

We’ll talk about what’s happening in your life, what matters to you, what’s working, and where you may be feeling stuck.

I’ll listen. I’ll ask questions. I’ll help you notice your strengths and possibilities you may not have recognized. And together, we’ll turn your ideas into small, realistic steps you feel ready to try.

Then we see what happens.

If something works, we build on it. If it doesn’t, we learn from it and try something different.

This is your journey. My job is to help you keep moving forward.

MAYBE YOU’RE READY FOR SOMETHING TO CHANGE.

Maybe you want to have more energy, move your body more, sleep better, or make changes in the way you eat.

Maybe stress has taken up more space in your life than you’d like.

Maybe life itself has changed—an empty nest, retirement, a loss, a health concern, or simply the realization that you’d like the next chapter to look a little different.

Or maybe you can’t quite put your finger on it. You just know you’re ready to feel better or live differently than you do today.

You don’t need to know exactly where you’re going before we begin. We can start by figuring out what matters most to you.

HOW 1:1 COACHING WORKS

Let’s start with a conversation.

We’ll begin with a complimentary 20-minute phone conversation to get to know one another, talk about what you’re hoping to accomplish, and see whether we’re a good fit.

If one-on-one coaching feels like the right next step, you can begin with individual one-hour sessions or choose a discounted six-session package. We'll work together at a pace that makes sense for you, exploring what matters most, identifying realistic changes, and building on what you learn along the way.

As your goals evolve, we can adjust the frequency and length of our sessions, including shorter 30-minute sessions when appropriate.

One-on-one coaching is available in person for local clients or virtually via Zoom, so we can work together even if you don’t live nearby.

What might be possible for you?

Let’s find out together.

You don’t have to have everything figured out before you begin.

Maybe you already know exactly what you’d like to change. Maybe you have several things you’d like to work on. Or maybe you simply know that you’re ready for something to be different.

A conversation is a pretty good place to start.
